Catering Crew make a highly valuable contribution to our school community by supporting the catering team at lunchtime.

Years 4, 5 and 6 pupils can apply for the role. Once selected, they receive in depth training. When on duty they wear a black apron with the Catering Crew logo so that they are easily identified in the hall at lunchtime

Duties include

• Serving cold desserts, snacks and drinks
• Helping to make pupils feel welcome in the hall.
• Helping to clear and wipe tables.
• Helping and showing children how to clear plates and empty cups in the correct manner.
• Helping younger children with cutting up food etc.

The Catering Crew role develops confidence, responsibility, reliability, teamwork and leadership skills.
